Health and Safety

ISO9001 iso14001 ISO18001

LMC considers health and safety a core business value. We believe that creating a safe and healthy working environment promotes improved productivity, morale, quality and ultimately increased satisfaction for our clients. Safety and environmental considerations are paramount to our tender and pre-planning procedures and remain key to all elements of our operations throughout the life cycle of each project.

We are committed to the continuous improvement of our procedures and strive to exceed the recognised standards wherever possible. All of our sites are inspected regularly by both our in house team and external safety advisors (All Day Safety). Any recommendations that arise from site inspections are implemented immediately and new knowledge is extended across the company.

Training

Senior management, site supervisors and all operatives are subject to continuous training and are positively encouraged to undertake further training wherever possible. All operatives are enroled on an NVQ training programme and every effort is made by senior management to ensure all employees reach their full potential.  The majority of our training is undertaken at our in house training centre in Enfield. Courses that we regularly run for our employees include but are not limited to the following:

  • SMSTS
  • SSSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Confined Space Entry/Working

  • Manual Handling
  • Service Avoidance
